A rampantly temperamental French chef employs a footloose American apprentice in the kitchens of his prestigious Michelin star restaurant. When the two cooks discover a shared passion for culinary perfection (and a taste for canned ravioli for breakfast) a bond begins to develop between them. It takes a bit longer, however, for the boss's beautiful daughter and the rest of the colourful kitchen staff to warm to the new guy from Noodle York.
